On December 31st. 2005, as Sudden Urge took a badly needed evening off (the first New Year's Eve Sudden Urge has taken off in over a decade), Steve Petix was invited to FUNK the house down at the all new 'Limericks Lakeview Bar' with 'Denzel Ward & Cool Company' (Featuring former members of Rick James' Stone City Band)! Steve says the highlight of the evening was playing the song "Super Freak" with the actual Bassist that played that very song with Rick James!
